Working together to grow MyExpatTaxes, you will review our customers' self-prepared US tax returns and provide support and expertise on the premium offers, directly representing MyExpatTaxes in your contact with the customers. You’ll help the first-line customer service agents if they have general questions about a customer’s situation.and you will directly influence the features and functionalities of our software by working with the customer service and development teams. You will work closely with a team of experienced tax professionals to prepare and review federal and state income tax returns. Additionally, as a US Tax Associate, you may be responsible for conducting tax research and analyzing complex tax issues to provide valuable insights and recommendations to clients. We're looking for ideas, skills, and attitude so that you can make a real impact.
We are looking for a Senior US Tax Associate (m/w/d), your start date would be ideally February 2024:
A detail-oriented tax associate to consult with clients and provide tax preparation services. The tax associate's responsibilities include interacting with clients, obtaining and reviewing tax information, preparing tax returns, and performing tax research projects.
To be successful as a tax associate, you should be able to ensure your clients comply with IRS regulations and work to minimize their tax liabilities.
Your ability to communicate in a professional manner sets you up for success as a US Tax Associate. As a US Tax Associate, your primary responsibility will be assisting clients with all aspects of their tax compliance and reporting requirements. A key aspect of the role is ensuring that clients are in compliance with all applicable tax laws, rules, and regulations. Your attention to detail and strong analytical skills will be essential as you review client financial statements, tax returns, and other relevant records to confirm accuracy and adherence.
