IT Manager Security Operation Center

For this reason, we are looking for an IT Manager for the Security Operation Center to join our team.

As an expert in digital security, you will influence security for all IT functions. You will challenge existing environments and concepts and inspire the future security architecture. You will also engage actively in projects with digital security implications to ensure seamless integration of security in IT services, technical infrastructure and solutions. Your professional insights and convincing nature will improve making well-informed decisions that strengthen our defense and continually improve the security and resilience of our IT services.

SECURITY OPERATIONS PROCESSES

As IT Manager Security Operation Center you will support security incident response efforts, swiftly mitigating threats and minimizing potential impact. To identify vulnerabilities and develop effective mitigation strategies you will support security assessments. You will also support vulnerability management processes and ensure timely identification and remediation of vulnerabilities.

SECURITY OPERATIONS PROJECTS

In this role, you will oversee or manage projects involving the Security Operations team and ensure that they are completed in line with our strategic objectives. You will help to ensure that projects run efficiently, milestones are met and high quality deliverables are delivered. You will work collaboratively across teams to integrate security projects into wider business initiatives.

SECURITY OPERATIONS SERVICES

You will contribute to the design of our security services with the aim of maximizing operational efficiency and effectiveness. Together with your security colleagues, you will shape our processes and improve our security posture through innovative solutions. You will support the improvement of our services and adapt our procedures to stay one step ahead of the security landscape.

Completed IT education, preferably with a focus on IT security or comparable qualification

Minimum of five years of experience in digital security or a related field characterized by increasing responsibility and knowledge

Proficiency in English is required, German is highly valued and considered a significant advantage

Strong interest in utilizing new technologies and methodologies to enhance the capabilities of our Security Operations team and stay informed of the latest security threats, vulnerabilities and industry trends

A winning personality with excellent communication skills for engaging effectively with stakeholders across all IT teams

Strong analytical and problem solving skills, particularly related to identifying and mitigating security risks to maintain reliable services

Due to legal reasons we are obliged to disclose the minimum salary according to the collective agreement for this position, which is EUR 2,229 gross per month. However, our attractive compensation package is based on market-oriented salaries and is therefore significantly above the stated minimum salary.
