Sous Chef (m/f/d)

For a renowned 5-star hotel in Salzburg, we are looking for a motivated Sous Chef (m/f/d).

The Sous Chef, in his role as the representative of the Head Chef during their absence, is responsible for ensuring smooth operations in the kitchen.

Your Responsibilities:

• Preparation of dishes and organization of shift operations during all service times and in all areas
• Ensuring maximum efficiency in the kitchen
• Training apprentices and onboarding new employees
• Adhering to the predetermined food budget
• Contributing ideas in all kitchen areas (dishes, products, goods, etc.)
• Supporting and advising the Executive Chef in all matters
• Serving as a role model in implementing meal planning as per the Executive Chef's vision for the staff
• Product control, including receiving goods
• Monitoring the cold storage rooms in accordance with HACCP standards and participating in inventories
• Continuous training and observation of new kitchen trends up to their implementation

You are a good fit for us if you bring the following:

• Advantageous: Experience in banquet and seminar areas
• Experience as a Sous Chef or extensive experience as a Chef de Partie
• Organizational and planning skills
• High level of expertise and significant leadership experience

The gross salary is €3,400 per month. Willingness to overpay depends on experience and qualifications.
