Your mission

From employee relations to payroll, the HR department helps ensure that an organization runs smoothly. We are looking for an individual with practical experience and an enthusiastic attitude to make all HR processes work the way they should.

You will work closely with your HR colleagues, a team of experienced Tax & Customer Support professionals, Developers, Marketing specialists and, of course, our co-founders. Our main office is in Vienna, with a satellite office in the Philippines, and a diverse remote team with colleagues working in Italy, Spain, UK, and Poland.

  • Partner with management to ensure strategic HR goals are aligned with business initiatives
  • Ensure organizational compliance with local regulations
  • Design and implement employee retention strategies
  • Analyze trends in compensation and benefits
  • Monitor and refine our compensation strategy, informed by market research and pay surveys
  • Ensure all company HR policies are applied consistently
  • Use performance management tools to provide guidance and feedback to the team
  • Investigate employee issues and conflicts, and bring them to resolution
  • Maintain HR systems and processes
  • Provide support and guidance to HR staff
  • Conduct performance and salary reviews
  • Develop training materials and coordinate career development reviews to optimally support employees' professional growth and career aspirations

In addition, when necessary, you will assist in the staffing process; which includes:
  • Recruiting, interviewing, hiring, and onboarding
  • Liaising with Austrian authorities for visa and work permit applications
  • Acting as a main point of contact for all EOR communications and payroll matters
  • Acting as a main point of contact for the Austrian accounting team for all payroll matters

Your profile

Requirements

  • Advanced level English (the company language is English)
  • Advanced level German
  • Comprehensive practical and theoretical understanding of Austrian labor law
  • At least 4 years’ experience in HR generalist or similar role
  • Adept at managing interpersonal relationships, facilitating effective collaboration, and resolving issues in a constructive manner
  • Excels in written and verbal communication
  • Highly organized and proficient in prioritizing time and tasks
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Based in Vienna

Ideal Skills

  • English C1+
  • German native speaker

The minimum salary established in the IT Collective Agreement Salary guidelines and requirements will be applied (41.552 EUR per year). In addition, the successful candidate’s experience and qualifications will be considered in determining the final salary.
