Head of Group Accounting & Consolidation

Kapsch TrafficCom develops smart solutions to make mobility safer, more sustainable and efficient for everybody. We design, build and operate traffic management systems including connected vehicles technology and mobility demand management as well as tolling services for cities, roads, tunnels and bridges around the world. We develop data and video analytics platforms, building on state-of-the-art technologies including AI, machine learning, big data and cloud services to enable the digitalization of mobility.

In its 2021/22 financial year, around 4,000 employees generated revenues of EUR 520 million. We are looking for a seasoned Head of Group Accounting & Consolidation to join and lead our team.

Your tasks:

• Responsibility for comprehensive internal and external financial group reporting
• Legal consolidation for actuals as well as for budget and forecasting
• Primary contact for group auditor
• Communication with subsidiaries related to all financial regards
• Close cooperation with all other group functions (legal, treasury, taxes, controlling)
• Ensuring the correct application of all relevant IFRS standards and implementation of new standards in the whole group
• Ongoing review and adjustment of Group structures and reporting packages
• Ad Hoc Reporting to the Executive Board and EVP Corporate Finance
• Responsible for impairment tests, business valuations, PPAs
• Regular updating of various documents (IFRS-, Consolidation tool- and planning manual)
• Leading of the Group Accounting and Consolidation team

Your Profile:

• Completed studies (WU, FH) with a focus on business and finance
• Several years of experience in consolidation
• Experience in an international audit firm is appreciated
• Strong knowledge of international accounting (IFRS)
• Leadership skills and management of meetings, presentations
• IT-skills appreciated
• German and English skills are mandatory
