Senior Systems Engineer

In the role of Senior Systems Engineer at GlobeAir, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the robustness and
efficiency of our IT infrastructure. Your responsibilities will extend across managing hypervisors and virtual
machines, performing updates and backups, and safeguarding our systems with top-tier cyber security measures. You will also engage in strategic evaluations of our IT resources and contribute to daily troubleshooting tasks.
Ideally, you will possess knowledge of PowerBI and PowerAutomate to further enhance our operations.

Your Responsibilities will Include:

• Hypervisor and VM Management: Oversee the maintenance and optimization of hypervisors and virtual machines to ensure high performance and reliability.
• System Updates and Backups: Regularly perform system updates and manage backup processes to ensure data integrity and availability.
• Cyber Security: Implement and manage advanced cyber security measures to protect our IT infrastructure from threats.
• Infrastructure Management: Maintain and enhance our IT infrastructure to support business operations and growth.
• Strategic Evaluations: Conduct strategic evaluations of IT resources and infrastructure to recommend improvements and innovations.
• Daily Troubleshooting: Provide expert troubleshooting for a variety of IT issues, ensuring minimal downtime and disruption.
• PowerBI and PowerAutomate: Utilize PowerBI and PowerAutomate for data analysis, reporting, and process automation.
• Collaboration and Leadership: Work closely with the IT and digital teams, providing guidance and support on various projects and initiatives.
• Continuous Improvement: Stay updated with the latest industry trends and emerging technologies, continuously seeking to improve processes and system performance.

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
• 3-5 years of relevant experience in systems engineering, IT support, or a similar role.
• Expertise in managing hypervisors and virtual machines, with a strong understanding of system updates, backups, and cyber security.
• Proficiency in PowerBI and PowerAutomate is highly desirable.
• Excellent English language skills (both verbal and written), with additional languages being a plus (German language is not required).
• Ability to work on-site at our headquarters in Hörsching, Austria.
• Highly self-motivated and proactive, with strong problem-solving skills and a willingness to take initiative.
• Must have the right to live and work in Austria.
