Thesis - 3D EMC Wiring harness simulation

Master Thesis

Simulation, analysis and optimization of wiring harness with FEM simulation software. (Electric/ Magnetic field, voltage drops, temperature, current density analysis)

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Investigation of different coupling paths between cables
• Setup of a model of the low voltage system with all relevant components
• Running the simulation with different parameters of the relevant system components
• Documentation and interpretation of the results of the different simulation runs
• Compare the simulation results with available measurements of the existing system
• All findings will be documented into a workflow and processes.

YOUR PROFILE:

• Ongoing studies in the fields of Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Software Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering or similar
• Basic knowledge of simulation and circuit simulation tools (e.g. MATLAB, Simulink, CST Studio, LTspice)
• Knowledge in electro-technics and electronic circuits
• Team spirit and strong problem-solving skills
• Demanding tasks and opportunity to working independently
• Goal-oriented working style
• Good language skills in English necessary and in German beneficial

WE OFFER:
