Senior Strategic Procurement Manager (Media)

In this exciting position, you will be responsible for strategic purchasing to strategically manage and optimize the international supplier portfolio for all technical services and products needed for Red Bull's media company.

The Strategic Procurement Media team focuses on aligning internal stakeholder demand with external market dynamics, with an emphasis on media industry buying categories. Our main activities include stakeholder management, price negotiations, supplier relationship management, benchmarking and risk management. As part of this team, you will contribute to increasing efficiency and effectiveness in line with the company's objectives.

STRATEGIC PROCUREMENT

As a Senior Strategic Procurement Manager, you will use your specialist knowledge to carry out sourcing projects. You monitor and analyze the market and its trends for products and services in the field of media technology in order to identify new potential. In your day-to-day work, you will use various sources of information as a resource to process analyses, supplier performance, market knowledge and ad hoc data requirements from stakeholders and define your purchasing recommendations. In this way, you not only support growth, but also the creation of value for Red Bull's media businesses.

SUPPLIER MANAGEMENT

In this role, you will drive the implementation of our standardized supplier management by identifying, qualifying and developing potential suppliers based on the requirements of the media business. Using your expertise, you will identify opportunities to standardize and optimize our supplier portfolio with a focus on Digital & IT.

In order to establish a secure supply chain, you will design supplier strategies. This includes negotiating supplier contracts, measuring supplier performance, ensuring due diligence and engaging in risk management, as well as leading supplier discussions.

STAKEHOLDER MANAGEMENT

As part of this role, you will maintain regular communication with internal stakeholders and will be the first point of contact for the IT, Operations and Digital team at Red Bull Media House for procurement related queries.

Collaboration with other areas such as Finance and Legal will also be part of your responsibilities, as well as implementing best practices to increase efficiency and effectiveness. Presenting management reports on planned and ongoing initiatives and their results is also an important part of this role.

Completed studies in procurement, business administration, law, business informatics or proven many years of professional experience

Business fluent in English, knowledge of German is a plus

At least five years' experience in a comparable position

Excellent negotiation and analytical skills

Experience in project and process management and understanding of modern procurement processes

Solution-oriented thinking and strong problem-solving skills to develop innovative and sustainable solutions

Strong communication and presentation skills

Due to legal reasons, we are obliged to disclose the minimum salary according to the collective agreement for this position, which is € 2,392 gross per month. However, our attractive compensation package is based on market-oriented salaries and is therefore significantly above the stated minimum salary.
