In the Hydro-Pumps department in Graz, we are looking for a Project Manager Engineered Pumps (m/f/d).

Your Tasks

  • Representation of the project to the customer, consulting engineer and consortium partners
  • Definition of tasks, functions and roles required for the project
  • Participation in the take-over process (Sales -> Contract Execution) including order intake calculation
  • Preparation of time schedule and work breakdown structure together with the system engineers
  • Organization of project kick-off (in coordination with SALES) and close down meetings
  • Preparation and updating of the project folder
  • Calling and execution of regular team meetings
  • Integrated project controlling (progress, schedule and costs)
  • Reporting to the Project Advisory Board and Management
  • Involvement in purchasing concept and major purchasing decisions
  • Claim and risk management, crisis management
  • Project Coordination
    • Coordination of Project Management processes and standards
    • Coordination of production planning documents
    • Coordination of purchase requisitions and orders
    • Document transmittal and file management
    • Consolidation of project documentation incl. O&M Manual
    • Integrated project controlling (progress, schedule and costs)
    • Claim and risk management, crisis management

Your Profile

  • Completed technical education in mechanical engineering or mechanical engineering business (HTL, FH, Uni).
  • Several years of professional experience in the management/planning/handling of technical projects
  • Knowledge in project management (schedule/cost controlling, contract law, claim management)
  • SAP knowledge
  • Knowledge in the field of fluid machinery is an advantage
  • Business fluent in German and English
  • Willingness to travel, flexibility and commitment
  • Independent, structured and accurate way of working
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team

In Austria we are legally obliged to announce at least a gross monthly salary of € 3.400,86 for this position.
Depending on qualifications and professional experience we offer you a market-based salary.
