About the team


Originally known for leadership in enterprise resource planning (ERP) software, SAP has evolved to become a market leader in end-to-end enterprise application software, database, analytics, intelligent technologies, and experience management. The Sales Digital Team is a core function of the MEE Digital Hub, which strives for a higher sales pipeline with a simultaneous increase of the opportunity quality. The team is a key part of the midmarket sales organization and is responsible for serving small and midsize companies. The department is working cross-regional with activities in Germany, Switzerland, Austria, Central and Eastern Europe countries and R-CIS countries. In the course of outbound (“push”) and inbound (“pull”) activities, the SDEs concretize the customers’ software demand and are in direct contact with the relevant decision makers. Consequently, this department is a very important part of the cloud ERP sales process.

In this context, we are looking for an ambitious and hungry working student (f/m/d) who would like to become part of this exiting market approach. The team will be the sales-related bridge between marketing and the final sales.
The student (f/m/d) will be in direct contact with the c-level on customer side (CIOs, CFOs, etc.) to fulfill the goal of creating additional sales opportunities.
New creative sales ideas and suggestions are much appreciated to motivate our customers to implement our latest cloud ERP innovations.

The role


Are you looking for a sales-related function with directly addressing the customers’ decision-makers?
Do you want to assume responsibility in the sales process and be part of a highly professional ERP demand generation team with much management visibility?
This dedicated job position will focus on the creation of new creative and innovative sales material for R-CIS Countries – Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, Azerbaijan, Armenia.

Initially, you will be provided with the relevant product knowledge about on “SAP S/4HANA”.
In the course of trainings and self-assessments, you will get enough time to get familiar with the product content and to check their know-how. You will primarily support the sales campaign with creative content (like social media posts, PowerPoints, videos etc.).
Additionally, this job role will support in the organizational process of customer workshops.
As part of the direct customer approach, you will be in close contact with the customers’ decision-makers (often CIO or CFO) and try to convince this target group of a timely follow-up appointment.

Your diverse tasks will include in detail:

  • Learning about SAP products (Enterprise Resource Planning) and customer target groups
  • Execution of proactive digital and telephone campaigns to generate interest for SAP S/4HANA
  • Applying new digital sales methods like digital campaigns, videos, social selling and podcasts
  • Supporting and advertising customer events to create more valid sales opportunities
  • Generating product expertise to generate customer interest as a digital influencer
  • Organizing and preparing customer workshops


This is a unique opportunity to become a fundamental pillar of the SAP Midmarket Sales and work closely together with our SDEs to gain a decisive sales expertise.

Role requirements

  • You are a currently enrolled student (f/m/d) at a university or a university of applied sciences
  • Preferred field(s) of study: business administration, marketing and sales, social media, web design, computer science, communication, business informatics, psychology, media, design or related subjects
  • Languages: English, Russian and at least one of the languages of R-CIS countries, mentioned in scope
  • Interests and affinity for IT solutions
  • Analytical skills and the ability to grasp and work with complex concepts
  • Basic knowledge of ERP software and sales skills are a plus
  • Being familiar with social media platforms (for example LinkedIn to generate leads)
  • Willingness to give presentations in front of customers
  • Experience with MS Office products such as Outlook, Excel, Word and PowerPoint
  • Experience with video cutting and further innovative content tools
  • Good communication, networking skills and character of a team player
  • Creativity, motivation as well as ability to work in a structured and independent manner
  • Responsibility and ability to drive topics open-mindedly and focused on the end-result

As an attactive employer we offer you a salary that is based on the current "Kollektivvertrag für Angestellte von Unternehmen im Bereich Dienstleistungen in der automatischen Datenverarbeitung und Informationstechnik", a minimum of 2223€ gross/month/full time, in addtion to generous additional benefits.
