Electrical Engineer, Instrumentation and Process Control (m/f/d)

In our Electric & Automation department in Vienna we are searching for an Electrical Engineer, Instrumentation and Process Control (m/f/d).

Your Tasks

• Design and concept of process and instrumentation flow sheets (P&ID) together with process engineers for plants in the metals industry
• Selection and dimensioning of (field) instrumentation equipment for process control according to process requirements
• Drafting of electrical and instrument specifications, hook-up drawings, process functional descriptions
• Contributing to HAZOP and general SAFETY studies, supporting all stakeholders in multinational projects incl. customers.
• Maintenance and optimization of existing solutions as well as the development of new, innovative solutions for the technical and economic improvement of systems and processes
• Commissioning of our process systems as well as training and instruction of our international customers on job sites

Your Profile

• Completed technical education (college or university) in the field of electrical engineering or automation technology
• At least 3 years of experience in instrumentation and process control, as well as good knowledge of international (Europe mandatory) guidelines and standards (IEC, NEMA / UL)
• Good knowledge of modern instrumentation engineering tools, COMOS, Sigraph, AutoCAD
• Proven track record in EI&C design, previous experience in process and/or petrochemical industry
• Team player, strong communication skills, structured and solution-oriented way of working
• High willingness to travel (at least 30%) for commissioning activities for process (heat and acid) plants, as well as short term travel for clarification meetings (Andritz Vienna & customers), site survey, etc.
• Good English skills spoken and written (B2) required, German and other language skills are beneficial

In Austria we are legally obliged to announce at least a gross monthly salary of € 3.542,60 for this position. Depending on qualifications and professional experience we offer you a market-based salary.
