Embedded Software Developer (m/w/d)

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

• Develop and maintain embedded software for a wireless intercom system
• Plan, design, implement, and test components for the embedded software and the Linux operating system
• Demonstrate ownership of dedicated areas of the system’s software architecture
• Participate in sprint planning and cross-functional company initiatives that foster collaboration.
• Participate in code reviews and make technical contributions to product architecture as well as getting involved in solving bugs and delivering small features.
• Participate and implement process improvements.
• Improve product quality, security, and performance.
• Engage with business and technology requirements in design & development
  

THAT'S YOU

• University degree or similar technical education in a technical discipline preferably in computer engineering and/or electronics
• Experience in embedded software development
• Very good knowledge of C++ including STL and objected oriented software design.
• Experiences in test driven development (TDD) is an advantage.
• Experiences with Linux and tools such as git, Jira, Confluence
• Experience in agile software development methodology
• Good knowledge about standard Internet protocols is a plus
• The candidate is expected to be self-driven, with strong problem-solving skills, and is committed to developing high quality software.
• Fluent in English (spoken and written), German is a plus
