Bonn, August 2024 The infas Institute in Bonn has been researching what moves society for over 60 years. We conduct national and international social science studies and answer complex questions with empirical results. Our more than 140 experts provide research and consulting services for key decisions in science, politics, administration and business. To expand our team in Bonn, we are looking for a full-time position as soon as possible IT Administrator / System Administrator (m/f/d) with a focus on Linux Your tasks: You ensure smooth processes in our Linux system landscape and are responsible for the continuous development of our platforms and services. With your ideas, you will further develop our cloud infrastructure and optimize the associated network. Your area of work also includes our backup and monitoring system as well as user support from L1. Your profile: You have completed training, e.g. as a (specialist) computer scientist, alternatively also as a career changer with sound previous IT knowledge, You are at home in the Linux world. With RHEL, Ansible, Docker, Apache, Tomcat and SQL, You have very good knowledge of client systems and classic Office applications You have an analytical mindset and see yourself as a troubleshooter You have a high degree of service orientation and you have an idea of 1st and 2nd level support and very good written and spoken German (B2 level).
