Junior Firmware Engineer (m/f/d)

If you are self-motivated and understand the basics of embedded software development, then join the embedded secure software development team responsible for all engineering activities from requirements definition to development and verification of the embedded firmware for security microcontrollers including the software release and certification. The security microcontroller is used in secure payment and identification products as well as secure Internet of Things (IoT) solutions. Your responsibilities:
- Specification, deliver high-quality code, optimization and verification of embedded firmware modules (Boot SW, drivers for HW peripherals, e.g. NVM) in close cooperation with OS, hardware and verification team in an agile development process
- Definition and implementation of FW test cases
- Pre- and post-silicon verification incl. use-case tests
- Documentation of design and test results

Your Profile:
- Master/Bachelor degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science / Computer Engineering / Software Engineering or relevant working experience
- Practical experience in embedded firmware development
- Programming skills in C and assembler for embedded controllers
- Good English skills
- Agile mindset
