As a Verification Engineering Intern, you will be part of NXP’s “Secure Edge Identification” SoC (System-On-Chip) digital verification team. This team delivers cutting-edge security products which operate at the edge, such as Secure IoT (Internet of Things) devices, Secure Authentication devices, RF-ID tags, and SoC’s for contactless banking cards, ID cards, ePassports, and Smart-City applications. A commitment to on-time delivery and strong focus on design quality and robustness is the foundation of all we do. The team is involved in all aspects of the design process, from product specification through design implementation and pre-silicon verification, to tape out, post-silicon validation, and customer support.
Your responsibilities:
Supporting the creation of verification plans for ASICs (Application Specific Integrated Circuits) on system/block level
Supporting the development of verification environments using object-oriented techniques (Universal Verification Methodology)
Assisting the development of SystemVerilog assertions and verification of design blocks using formal verification methods
Documentation, coding, and debugging of digital designs
Setting up and running regressions to attain the verification goals
Developing key design verification skills that are relevant to the semiconductor industry
You will be given guidance and freedom to plan and manage your own time.
Your profile:
Ongoing studies in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or similar
Understanding of concepts for software development, digital design, and verification
Analytical and problem-solving skills, willing to learn and ready to take on problems
University project experience of digital design using VHDL, Verilog or SystemVerilog is an advantage
Knowledge of programming languages such as C, C++ or Python is beneficial
Solid English skills (speaking and writing)
Team player and eager to develop best in class products

The minimum salary for this position is EUR 2.300- gross/month.
