Are you a Flemish-speaking social media pro looking for a flexible freelance gig? We’re seeking a part-time (2 hours/week) Community Manager to engage online communities, drive real-time conversations, and grow brand presence across platforms. If you love connecting with audiences and working on your own terms, this role is for you!

We are looking for a freelance Community Manager fluent in Flemish to engage with large social media communities across multiple platforms. In this role, you will actively participate in real-time conversations, responding and interacting with our clients’ communities daily. You’ll ensure the right tone and approach in all interactions, meeting the needs of fans and followers while maintaining a positive brand presence.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities:

  • Actively engage with large social communities on platforms like Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and others, facilitating meaningful conversations.
  • Monitor and respond to community discussions in real-time, addressing inquiries, moderating content, and maintaining a friendly and respectful environment.
  • Understand the needs of fans and followers, providing timely and well-crafted responses that match the brand’s tone and values.
  • Stay up to date with the latest social media trends and digital culture, quickly adapting to capitalize on new opportunities.
  • Manage multiple social media channels and tasks simultaneously with a service-oriented mindset.
  • Collect and analyze user feedback, working to provide solutions and improve the community experience.
  • Use community management tools such as Falcon/Brandwatch or Meta Business Suite to track and manage conversations.
  • Collaborate effectively within a team environment while being capable of working independently with minimal supervision.
  • Embrace the freedom and flexibility that comes with the role, balancing autonomy with the need to adapt to changing priorities.


Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in community management or social media engagement.
  • Proficient in using community management tools (e.g. Falcon/Brandwatch, Meta Business Suite).
  • In-depth understanding of social media platforms and digital trends.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with native or near-native proficiency in Flemish.
  • Ability to work independently with a high level of flexibility and reliability.
  • A collaborative team player who can also manage tasks autonomously.
  • Availability for a freelance, part-time role (approximately 2 hours per week).
