About us

Livin Farms empowers food companies to upcycle their low-value organic waste to high-value insect ingredients through two main services: Building scalable, and modular automated insect factories on customer’s sites to access their food by-products; and regularly providing seedlings to turn customers' bio waste into insect products. Through our farming as a service model, our customers can utilize insect products in the animal feed market shortening the huge protein gap across industries.

The main goal of the position

You are an important part of a team responsible for international projects, planning and construction of our Hive PRO insect fattening systems

What you will do

• Process engineering planning and concept development for industrial plants
• Creation of process flow diagrams, P&I flow diagrams, process descriptions, mass and energy balances as well as dimensioning of plant components
• Specification of plant equipment
• Participation in assembly monitoring and plant commissioning
• Based on the tender documents you have prepared, you compare the suppliers' offers in technical terms and take into account the specifications of our customers
• During the plant setup or when converting the plant, you organize the interfaces
• Creation of safety assessments and risk analyses
• Participation in and coordination of multidisciplinary feasibility studies
• Recording of coordination and negotiations with suppliers and customers

About you

• You have a completed diploma or master's degree in process engineering, mechanical engineering, chemistry or similar areas
• You have experience in the areas of development, planning, implementation or commissioning of industrial plants and also in process development and optimization.
• You are customer-oriented and used to working independently and can handle projects as part of a team with high quality and care.
• You enjoy working in a team and you enjoy working with people from different disciplines.
  High spirit of innovation and willingness to develop further
• Very good English skills, German skills is a big plus

Mandatory information in Austria: The minimum gross salary for this position is EUR 3500/month.

We’re willing to overpay, depending on your professional work experience and qualification.
