Your responsibilities
- Initiate, plan and manage VIGS Institute’s social media channels.
- Produce campaign creatives (photos, videos, graphic design, copywriting)
- Continuously develop and execute on VIGS Institute’s social media strategy, working with colleagues in
other areas (Academic Office, Recruitment, Admissions, Academic Faculty, etc.) to maximize
the social media performance. - Manage responses to social media comments and messages on VIGS Institute channels.
- Monitor social media trends and analytics to optimize content and engagement.
- Tracking and reporting on agreed KPIs and other relevant metrics
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate social media into broader marketing campaigns both internally and externally.
- Provide support for in-house and external events.
- Help to manage the VIGS Institute brand online
- Manage relations and coordinate activities with content, graphics, video, and other relevant partners.
- Deliver social media training as needed.
Your profile
- Relevant work experience, preferably in higher education or familiarity with a university environment.
- Experience with social media analytics and platforms such as Google, Facebook,
Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, YouTube, Snapchat, and TikTok - Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English (at C-level) AND German (at C-level) are necessary.
- Design skills in Figma, Photoshop, InDesign and/or Illustrator, etc.
- Strong organizational skills, proven ability to work independently, prioritize tasks and multitask.
- Proactive, agile and engaged attitude.
- Effective planning and time management skills.
- IT affinity and excellent knowledge of MS office
- Valid work permit in Austria.

Further information
We offer a 2-year fixed term employment contract, turning indefinite upon expiry subject to mutual satisfaction of the parties. The position can be filled from September 1, 2024.
