Within our Technical Network Service division, we are currently recruiting for the position of IT System Engineer Control Systems (m/f/d) Tasks System administration of the existing IT infrastructure (servers, networks, firewalls, backup and recovery) Developing, implementing and scaling IT system components Designing and setting up new control system infrastructures Analyzing process data, system/data errors and initiating measures if necessary Carrying out data and function tests, documenting the results and releasing for production Ensuring life cycle management for all system components Requirements management and service provider control for all relevant system components Collaboration in projects and assumption of (partial) project management Ensuring the high availability of the systems by participating in the on-call team Profile Successfully completed studies in the field of electrical engineering or computer science or a comparable qualification with professional experience in the described area of responsibility Strong knowledge of Linux operating systems, network technologies, virtualization and firewalls Programming skills (Java, C++, Ansible, PowerShell etc.) Good analytical skills and a systematic, methodical approach Independent and autonomous way of working High level of decision-making ability and persuasiveness Very good communication skills and a confident manner Experience in information security, in particular the DIN ISO 27001 ff. family of standards Experience in project management and ITIL Database knowledge (e.g. Oracle, SQL) Advanced knowledge of Microsoft 365 Good language skills in English (B1) Why RheinEnergie This position is remunerated with pay group 11 according to the collective agreement for utility companies (TV-V). For a full-time position, this corresponds to a gross annual salary of around 62,000 - 84,000 euros (depending on professional experience and qualifications). In addition to the collectively agreed salary, our employees receive numerous special payments and benefits, such as additional variable remuneration in the form of bonuses and incentives, depending on the company's performance, as well as a company pension scheme worth 8.7% of the respective gross annual salary.
