ROLE OVERVIEW

We are looking to hire a talented DevOps Engineer who will provide critical IT support while also enhancing and automating our cloud infrastructure development processes. You will play a key role in ensuring operational excellence and driving innovation in our IT and infrastructure practices. Frequent interaction with traders, quants, and senior management will be required so communication and collaboration skills are essential. The ideal candidate will be a mid-level professional.

JOB DESCRIPTION: DevOps ENGINEER – FULL TIME

• Run IT support for our local office, ensuring robust infrastructure management and rapid issue resolution.
• Monitor performance and ensure system availability and reliability.
• Contribute to the architecture and optimization of our cloud infrastructure to support scalability and security of our operations.
• Collaborate with global IT teams to align local systems with our broader technology strategy.
• Implement best practices in DevOps and platform engineering to support continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) and infrastructure as code (IaC) initiatives.
• Document system configurations, updates, and processes to reference in future incidents and ensure compliance with industry standards.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field
• 3-5 years of experience in IT support, DevOps/GitOps, and platform engineering.
• A self-starter with an organized and methodical approach to problem solving through attention to detail and a proven ability to build relationships with internal and external, technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Advanced diagnostic/troubleshooting skills in Windows, Office; must have an innate curiosity and interest in IT.
• Knowledge of scripting and programming languages (Python, Bash, PowerShell, etc.).
• Strong understanding of public cloud services (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud), including security and management aspects is a plus.
• Experience with automation tools (such as FluxCD, ArgoCD, Ansible, or Terraform).
• Relevant certifications (e.g., Microsoft, AWS, Network, CISSP) are desirable.
• Experience with Docker/Kubernetes is a plus.
• Interest in financial markets and trading is a plus.
• Fluent in English. Maintains excellent verbal communication skills and can communicate effectively with technical and non-technical colleagues at all organizational levels.
