Responsibilities
As an (Senior) IT ERP Engineer (m/f/d) you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our cloud ERP system. You will be responsible for developing, implementing, validating, and maintaining robust quality assurance processes and procedures to guarantee the functionality, performance, and usability of our ERP solutions. Your key responsibilities will be:
- Select, implement, and maintain tools for test automation (ERP and Cloud systems) over their lifecycle to streamline testing processes and improve efficiency
- Design and execute test cases, scripts, and scenarios to validate system functionalities, workflows, and configurations
- Analyze test results, track defects, and collaborate with project teams to troubleshoot issues and implement corrective actions
- Develop and implement testing-validation strategies, plans, protocols, and documentation for Cloud systems in accordance with industry standards
- Conduct in-depth testing of ERP functionalities, focusing on module integration, data integrity, and system performance to guarantee flawless operations
- Design and execute validation tests, including installation qualification (IQ), operational qualification (OQ), and performance qualification (PQ), to ensure the functionality, performance, and security of ERP systems
- Work closely with software developers, business analysts, and project managers to define test objectives, scope, and acceptance criteria, contributing to project success
- Document validation activities, test results, deviations, and resolutions in compliance with regulatory guidelines and internal procedures
- Review and approve validation deliverables, including protocols, reports, and validation summaries, to ensure completeness and accuracy
- Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and regulatory requirements related to ERP quality assurance
- Participate in internal and external audits, inspections, and regulatory submissions as needed
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, or a related field (advanced degree or certifications in validation or regulatory affairs preferred)
- 3-5 years of experience in software testing/quality assurance/validation/validation engineering roles, with a focus on ERP and Cloud systems
- In-depth knowledge of ERP concepts, architectures, modules, and functionalities, knowledge of validation principles, methodologies, and regulatory requirements (e.g., FDA 21 CFR Part 11, GAMP 5)
- Hands-on experience with testing methodologies and tools (e.g., SAP, Microsoft Dynamics, API focused testing, CI/CD, Jira, Confluence)
- Experience with automated testing frameworks (e.g., Selenium, RSAT)
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, with the ability to systematically troubleshoot and resolve complex issues.
- Hands-on experience with software testing documentation, protocols, and tools (e.g., validation master plans, risk assessments, traceability matrices)
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with diverse teams and stakeholders
- Experience working in regulated industries (e.g., pharmaceuticals, medical devices, biotechnology) and Computer System Validation is a plus

Due to legal reasons we are obliged to disclose the minimum salary for this position, which is € 70.000,00 gross per year based on full-time employment. However our salaries are market oriented and in line with your qualifications and experience.
