We are looking for the next possible date at our headquarters in Hanover for a Database Developer (m/f/d) What you can look forward to: Management and maintenance of existing databases Design and development of new databases Help and support with the installation of a new database system Development and integration of new software applications and interfaces Analysis and subsequent rectification of faults Implementation of new standards in existing systems Central contact person for the various specialist departments What you bring with you: Degree in (business) informatics or completed training as an IT specialist (m/f/d) for application development sound knowledge in the operation of complex relational databases (DB2/z/OS) and the associated database management systems (DBMS) Relevant experience in dealing with non-relational databases Knowledge of Cobol, Java and common tools and systems in the IBM mainframe environment (CICS, TSO, IDZ, JES2, RACF, HSM etc.) is desirable Independent and autonomous work Initiative and a sense of responsibility Communication and team skills What we offer you: Flexitime and home office Job ticket and company bike Canteen with freshly prepared food Fitness room with courses on offer Family-friendly working environment If you are interested in actively shaping the future of Mecklenburgische Versicherung in a secure, interesting and responsible working environment, then we look forward to receiving your application!
