Corporate Affairs Manager (m/w/d)

Location: Vienna, Austria

Introduction to Role:

Join our Corporate Affairs team to help us position AstraZeneca as the leader in pharmaceutical research and partner of choice for the healthcare system with the aim to improve health care by bringing innovative medicines to Austria.

This role is an exciting opportunity to contribute to our mission of pushing the boundaries of science to deliver life-changing medicines.

Accountabilities:

It will be your task to lead and manage Corporate Affairs activities for AstraZeneca in Austria. You will be responsible for developing and implementing our strategy for external affairs and interactions with governments and health policy. Your role will involve collaborator management and project management for health policy initiatives across all our therapeutic areas.

You will also lead the communication with governments and health institutions to drive our efforts in increasing vaccinations in Austria including managing public tenders for vaccinations.

Crucial Skills/Experience:

  • Proven work experience in the healthcare system, health politics or a similar role in a pharmaceutical company
  • University graduate or equivalent experience in economics, health economics, politics, communication, business administration or natural sciences,
  • Fluency in German (min. C2 level) and English - a must
  • Communication and media relation skills
  • Excellent project management skills

Desirable Skills/Experience:

  • Profound knowledge of the Austrian health care system
  • Experience with vaccines, vaccination programs and public tenders
  • Communication skills
  • Highly motivated
  • Analytical business skills
  • Ability to work with new technologies and in new environments

We Offer:

  • Base salary for this position is €72 000 per year (full-time basis)
