Your Tasks

• Selection, development and qualification of fibre composite materials for producing structural components of rockets
• Development of fibre composite components for rocket structures including the evaluation of technical feasibility under following considerations: functionality, costs, weight and installation
• Support for manufacturing processes (documentation, construction deviations, complaints and improvement solutions), including coordination with specialists
• Preparation of work instructions (manuals, system descriptions,...)
• Technical coordination with external partners, subcontractors, customers and internal departments on technical requirements and solutions
• Assistance in the preparation of quotations, specifications, effort and deadline calculations as well as in the evaluation and assessment of contract documents
• Support for definining product development, modification and configuration, including maintenance and evaluation of systems used for this purpose

Your Profile

• Completed studies in aerospace engineering or comparable field of study (mechanical engineering, lightweight construction,...)
• Interest in lightweight structures and fibre composites
• Good knowledge of 3D CAD systems, prefarably CATIA V5
• Analytical thinking, high flexibility and resilience
• Very good knowledge of written and spoken English
• Very good MS Office knowledge
• Independent and structured way of working
• Ability to work in teams

We Offer

• A gross annual salary between € 40.600 and € 56.000, depending on qualification and experience. (based on collective agreement „kunststoffverarbeitendes Gewerbe“)
