This role has been designed as ‘Hybrid’ with an expectation that you will work on average 2-3 days per week from an HPE office.

In a typical day as Enterprise Account Manager you

  • Create and drive the HPE sales pipeline in the Enterprise Account Segment cross verticals. Focus will be on a global telco account based in Austria and some other major accounts.
  • Demonstrate solid understanding of the features and benefits in the area of evolving technical solutions as well as how HPE solutions are differentiated from the competition.
  • Maintain an outside-in view, stays abreast of competitors, leverages HPE’s opportunities and mitigates challenges.
  • Generate customer interest and link business and financial benefits with technology.
  • Demonstrate execution of our Edge-to-Cloud and aaS strategy.
  • Exercise deep expertise of end to end data solutions leveraging the HPE portfolio and ecosystem of partners.
  • Bring a services-led approach to build stickiness through consultative engagements and financial constructs.
  • Establish a professional, working, and consultative relationship with customers by developing a core understanding of the unique business needs.
  • Are laser focused on the channel to forge relationships, provide enablement of key technologies, and co-sell to end-users.

If you have these Skills, Expertise, Attitude and Education…

  • Academic degree in a technical or commercial field of study
  • Multiple years of advanced sales experience
  • Profound knowledge of storage/compute/networking products, solutions and services
  • Very good knowledge in data driven topics, data services and also storage solutions will be an additional advantage
  • Deep understanding of the Austrian market and to have key contacts to the market leaders
  • Solid understanding of the digital transformation, the role of IT within area of storage and how companies' solutions differently address specific industry challenges as well as their cross-segment capabilities
  • Hunting sales mentality with the right customer approach
  • Account planning and accurate account revenue forecasting skills
  • Communication, presentation and negotiation competencies on a high-level
  • Business fluent German language skills, plus excellent command of English

We are legally obliged to quote the KV minimum salary (related to KV Handel für Angestellte) for the position with a fix salary of € 2.818 p.m. gross (38,5 h/w), with the willingness to pay significantly more depending on individual experience and qualification.

The role is in an OTE salary scheme (60:40, all-in).
