Senior Back-end Developer (full-time)
We've assembled a small, agile team, working in remote locations, at the beginning of a fast-moving, disrutive industry. We're currently looking for a Senior Back-end Developer to join our team. The position is remote and available to anyone self-driven, and with the experience, motivation and capacity to contribute to our vision.For all our team members self-motivation is essential. No one on the team will micro-manage you. We are looking for team members who are comfortable using their initiative and seeing it through to completion. You will be part of a dynamic, fast paced team, and have the chance to shape the direction of our product as we grow. If you get excited about being in an industry that is breaking new ground and have a disposition of confidence towards challenging technical feats, we want to talk to you.
Responsibilities
- System architecture definition and specification
- Core Engine - working on highly scalable, platform indipendent backend services
- APIs - designing and developing services on top of WebSockets, REST and custom high-performance protocols
- Monitoring tools - extending and writing new backend monitoring services
Requirements
- Multi-year experience with Java in a leading role
- Self-motivation and willingness to work on new, unprecedented projects
- Experience with Kafka Messaging is a plus
- You have experience with the Blockchain- and Bitcoin-technology or are willing to get familiar with the topic
