HIS-OPS DevOps Engineer

We are seeking an experienced DevOps Engineer to join our highly motivated DevOps unit. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Java development and be well-versed in agile methodologies such as Kanban and Scrumban. As a proactive and communicative team player, you will have the opportunity to contribute to the improvement and optimization of our DevOps processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with development teams to integrate DevOps practices into Java development projects
• Manage and maintain build automation tools such as Maven and Gradle
• Implement and optimize CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins
• Utilize Docker and Kubernetes for containerization and orchestration
• Administer RDBMS systems including MySQL, Oracle, and PostgreSQL
• Develop and maintain infrastructure as code using Terraform
• Implement monitoring and logging solutions using Grafana, Prometheus, and ELK stack
• Contribute to the improvement and automation of cloud infrastructure on platforms such as OpenStack and Azure

Key Requirements:

• 3+ years of experience in Java and Groovy development
• Proficiency with Maven, Gradle, Jenkins, and Nexus/Artifactory
• Strong knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, and RDBMS systems
• Experience with bash, PowerShell, and GitLab CI
• Familiarity with public cloud providers such as Azure and infrastructure as code tools like Terraform
• Knowledge of Helm, ArgoCD, and messaging systems like Artemis (MQ)
• Experience with EKS, ECS, and a strong understanding of DevOps best practices

If you match this profile, we offer a gross annual salary starting at € 55.000,- (IT-KV). Depending on your qualifications and experience, there is a willingness to pay more.
