* As a Manager - Sustainable Transport you help to shape the future supply chain network of the ALDI SÜD Group with a focus on sustainable transport and alternative drive systems * Analysing the current supply chain with a focus on transport logistics and emission reduction is one of your main responsibilities * You develop roadmaps and together with our country teams, drive the implementation of green logistics and foster eco-efficient transport solutions * You independently lead and develop a team * You work in multi-national project teams to understand the business requirements of an international organisation * You work as part of our wider Supply Chain Management team to design and implement solutions that contribute to the creation of a sustainable, resilient, and future-proof supply chain for the ALDI SÜD Group.
Your Profile
The requirements of the role include:
* You have completed studies in Logistics, Supply Chain or Sustainability Management, Business Administration or similar * You have relevant professional experience in areas such as consulting, transportation etc. * Initial leadership experience and a proven track record in sustainable transportation is relevant to this role * You have a deep understanding of the transportation industry and sustainable transportation technology * You are proficient in MS Office tools (especially Excel) * You possess business-fluent English skills * Your strong technical and analytical thinking abilities combined with an entrepreneurial mindset, enable you to make strategic decisions * You are known for your reliability, strong collaboration skills and adaptability * You are willing to travel internationally (up to 10% of working time) * You are a strong communicator with the ability to present complex information in a clear and concise manner
