The Department of Information Technology - Administrative Applications Unit is looking for the next possible date for a IT Application Specialist (m/f/d) full-time (38.5 hours / week), open-ended What you can expect IT-side support, operation and administration of applications in the field of administrative applications Planning and implementation of configuration changes, maintenance work and updates, management of technical precautions for IT security and data backup as well as establishment and administration of user and authorization concepts Design, implementation and maintenance of interfaces to third-party systems / HIS Close cooperation with the specialist departments / key users for the introduction and further development of applications Contact person (m/f/d) for new requirements, innovations and ongoing services as well as their implementation, taking into account the application and process-specific framework parameters Participation in projects as IT-side (partial) project manager as well as communication and coordination within IT and with the respective specialist departments and manufacturers / service providers Preparation, participation, implementation and follow-up of project group meetings, meetings and workshops What is important in this job Completed (technical) university degree in computer science, a comparable IT education with several years of relevant professional experience in the above-mentioned or similar infrastructures or comparable qualifications acquired in practice Experience in the technical support of applications Knowledge of application environments, virtual servers, server operating systems, database systems, application software and interfaces Experience in project management and project work as well as in working with manufacturing / consulting companies Quick comprehension, strong analytical, conceptual and organizational skills as well as a process-oriented systematic working style Strong communication skills, social skills, willingness to innovate, assertiveness, ability to work in a team, commitment and high reliability What you can look forward to A varied and challenging role in the dynamic environment of medicine, science and IT An open-ended employment contract Comprehensive training and professional development opportunities Remuneration in accordance with the collective agreement for the public service of the federal states (TV-L) and its regular pay increases Company pension scheme (VBL) and an annual special payment Health promotion offers Good bus connections including a job ticket and free employee parking spaces Discounted food in our cafeterias, employee discounts and corporate benefits Flexible working hours (Mon. to Fri.) to reconcile family and career, no shift work Family-friendly employer (including childcare during all school vacations, except Christmas, for four to twelve-year-old children) Support with finding accommodation, childcare and much more Severely disabled persons will be given preference if they are otherwise equally qualified.
