At the Department of Pharmaceutical Chemistry, a postdoc position limited to 3 months, is vacant. This includes the participation in research projects on novel cancer therapeutics

Your personal sphere of play:

The MMCT research laboratory at the Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences is developing novel nanomedicine-based therapeutics with a strong focus for the treatment of malignant diseases. Biooptical methods and imaging technologies are applied to study pharmacokinetics and pharmacodynamics of novel compounds in tumor models in vitro, in vivo and ex vivo.

Your future tasks:
  • Participation in research projects / research studies
  • Participation in publications / academic articles / presentations
  • Supervision of students
  • Involvement in the organization of meetings, conferences, symposiums
  • Involvement in research administration
This is part of your personality:
  • Completed doctoral/PhD studies pharmacy
  • Experience with scientific research work
  • Professional competence: Relevant expertise in biochemistry, pharmacology, histology, in vivo imaging
  • Methodological competence, didactic competence
  • Teaching in histology and (pre)clinical imaging courses
  • High ability to express yourself both verbally and in writing
  • Excellent command of written and spoken English
  • Computer user skills including data analysis of tomographic imaging data (CT, MRI)
  • Ability to work in a team

Desirable qualifications:

  • Teaching experience / experience with e-learning
  • Knowledge of university processes and structures
  • Experience abroad
