At the Department of Pharmaceutical Chemistry the position of a "prae doc" is vacant for 4 months. This limited position includes the participation in research projects on novel cancer therapeutics.

Your personal sphere of influence:

The MMCT research laboratory at the Department for Pharmaceutical Sciences is developing novel nanomedicine-based therapeutics with a strong focus for the treatment of malignant diseases. Biooptical methods and imaging technologies are applied to study pharmacokinetics and pharmacodynamics of novel compounds in tumor models in vitro, in vivo und ex vivo.

Your future tasks:
  • Participation in research projects / scientific studies

  • Participation in publications / scientific articles / lectures.
This is part of your personality:
  • Completed Master's degree or Diploma in the field of Biotechnology or Pharmacy
  • Basic experience in research methods and academic writing
  • Excellent command of written and spoken English
  • IT user skills: MS Office
  • Computer skills including data analysis of tomographic imaging data (optical imaging, CT)

  • Relevant expertise in histology, in vivo imaging and microscopy
  • Methodological competence
  • Didactic competence
  • High ability to express yourself both verbally and in writing
  • You should be a team player with high social skills
