This is a tenure-track position. The contract runs until 31 October 2029 and includes an evaluation agreement: if the goals stipulated in the agreement are achieved, the position will be made permanent after five years, and there is also the option to upgrade it to full-time (100%), subject to the availability of financial resources.
Your sphere of action:Your future job is at the Department of Numismatics and Monetary History, one of the world’s leading centres for academic teaching and scholarly research on coinage and the monetary economy of the ancient, medieval and modern world.
Your future tasks:Fixed-term contract and fair salary: The basic salary of EUR 2175,95 (14 times a year for senior scientists postdoctoral, part time 50%) increases, if we can credit professional experience.
The contract will initially be for 5 years. As part of the hiring process, an evaluation agreement will be concluded between the position holder and the faculty and the assigned institute for the duration of the contract. Upon fulfillment of this agreement, the employment will be made permanent. Additionally, there is the option of an upgrade to a full-time position (100%), subject to the availability of financial resources.
