Your mission

As part of the Operations & Customer Service team in Airfreight, your mission involves:

Operations of Airfreight Branch:

  • Dispatch complete transport processes
  • Effectively communicate with customers, 3rd party logistics service providers, and GLOVIS offices worldwide
  • Ensure accurate and timely data entries, client billings, reports, and status checks
Compliance and Reporting:
  • Support and inform supervisor in case of irregularities or customer complaints
  • Maintain compliance with internal and external regulations such as air security plans, customs laws, and IATA DGR regulations
Development of GLOVIS Airfreight Business:
  • Continuously seek areas to improve efficiency and effectiveness in branch process flow
  • Understand and ensure adherence to customers' standard operating procedures (SOP)
  • Foster strong relationships with customers and vendors
  • Focus on customer satisfaction and actively pursue new clients
Team & Management:
  • Organize, coordinate, and communicate effectively within the airfreight operations team
  • Manage costs and increase productivity
  • Respond promptly to emails and requests from customers and GLOVIS Korea team
  • Ensure smooth operations during peak activity and staff absences
Your profile

To thrive in this position, you should meet the following requirements:

  • At least 1 year of experience in a comparable role, showcasing a strong foundation in the airfreight sector.
  • A college degree in logistics or a related field, complemented by relevant professional experience.
  • Outstanding analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • A team player mindset with a focus on achieving results and maintaining high quality standards.
  • Sound knowledge of the airfreight industry.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with internal stakeholders and external suppliers.
  • Proficiency in both written and verbal English and German. Korean language skills are a plus!
  • Advanced computer skills, including a solid understanding of MS Office applications.
  • Willingness to work on weekends and public holidays in accordance with local labor laws.
