Developer (f/m/d) high voltage switchgear

My client in Austria is a world leading engineering company and currently needs support in the form of a Freelancer Developer (f/m/d) high-voltage switch-gear:

Framework

• Start: asap-latest possible start November
• Duration of the contract: 2 years
• Capacity: 100%
• Location: Niederösterreich
• Workplace: 25% on-site and 75% remote (1 week/month on-site)
• Project language: English
• Interview slots: Week from 14 to 18th of October
• Interview process: one round interview

Skillset

• Years of demonstrable experience in High voltage development in the field of Switch-gear.
• High proficiency in electrical design software.
• Fluent English (word and written) is mandatory- German is nice to have but not a must for this role.

Tasks

• High voltage development engineer.
• Development of high-voltage converters for gas-insulated switch-gear (high-voltage isolated switch-gear).
• Development of prototypes of measuring transformers and sensors for medium-voltage networks
• Process optimization
• Calculation of electrical and electronic components
• Implementation into series production
• Technical documentation
