SUMMER INTERN (F/M/X)

SOFTWARE ENGINEERING / AUTOMATION / IS-IT

FULL-TIME (38H/W) | JULY AND/OR AUGUST 2025 | RIVERGATE, 1200 VIENNA

Are you ready to take the next step? Hitachi Rail in Austria is offering internships in Software Engineering, Automation, or IS-IT for pupils/students/graduates of technical schools and universities.

YOUR PROFILE

− You are a student at a technical university (electronics, technical informatics, electrical engineering, software engineering, computer science or similar) or a 3rd/4th/5th year pupil at a technical school (mechatronics, electronics, IT, telecommunications) or a recent graduate.
− You are eager to gain insights into software engineering, test automation, or IS-IT.
− You have good German/English skills, a curious mindset and a structured approach to work.
− Experience in C/C++, Python, Java, Git and Docker, real-time programming, version control, first-level support, routing and switching, or Windows administration is an advantage.

• Pupils: EUR 1,100 (gross/month)
• Bachelor’s students: EUR 1,700 (gross/month)
• Master’s students: EUR 2,000 (gross/month)

− A short cover letter indicating your availability (July and/or August). To make the most of your internship, we recommend committing to the full two months. Preference will be given to candidates who are available in both months.
