As we continue to scale and improve our offering, we are looking for a Senior Finance Manager to join our visionary team. This role will be instrumental in guiding Arbio towards sustainable financial success and operational excellence.
As our Senior Finance Manager, you’ll take the lead in ensuring seamless accounting and financial operations across our global entities. You'll deliver sharp, insightful financial analyses, steer audits and tax advisory processes, and be a trusted partner to the CFO, offering strategic insights. Plus, you'll be at the forefront of driving growth initiatives and continuous improvements that elevate our Finance team to new heights!

Serving as a business partner for the Management and Department Leads on all operational financial matters, as well as providing expert advice, influencing the implementation of new business streams and processes.
Ensuring the smooth operation of accounting and finance functions across our global businesses (DE, AT), by maintaining compliance for all 11 entities, and being responsible for liquidity management and treasury within the group.
Delivering accurate monthly management accounts and financial analyses to track and prepare key P&L and balance sheet items, while collaborating with the FP&A team on the preparation of clear plans that guide the company’s overall financial strategy.
Driving continuous improvements in our finance and accounting processes by identifying and implementing opportunities that not only streamline operations but also fuel business growth.
Being one of the first movers to develop and implement AI and benefit from automation in the finance operations.
Managing tax advisors to ensure efficient handling of external accounting, securing that all local tax requirements are met without complications.
Managing external audits and leading the preparation of annual statutory financial statements (HGB) for our global entities, directly impacting the accuracy and compliance of our financial reporting.
Developing and leading a team of 3 full-time employees and 2 working students, fostering growth and maintaining high performance.
Reporting to the CFO, where your key financial insights will have an immediate impact on strategic decisions, while also supporting further requests and projects on an ad-hoc basis, allowing you to develop and gain further expertise in various finance areas.
What you will add to our Crew
At least 5 years professional experience in finance or accounting roles, preferably in a startup/ fast paced environment.
In-depth expertise in finance or accounting, supported by a relevant degree.
A proven track record in team leadership and development, enhancing our team's performance and growth.
Familiarity with AI or willingness to explore its use for optimizing and automating finance functions, driving future-focused improvements.
Strong delegation and team management abilities, while staying actively involved in day-to-day operations, ensuring efficient workflows and decision-making.
Excellent English skills, with German proficiency at a B2 level or higher, and a communicative, respectful style in both written and verbal exchanges.
