Job description
Manage and drive the businesses of proprietary table games, table game utilities and electronic table games to optimize revenue and meet strategic sales, financial and corporate growth objectives in the EMEA region. Manage the long-term regional strategy and represent the Tables business as its regional strategic & operational leader, with internal partner groups – finance, sales, R&D, marketing, operations, etc. Identify market opportunities and prioritize product development resources to enable cross-functional teams especially sales while evaluating and measuring product performance.
Essential Job Functions:
Advise the Executive Staff in product strategy, technical requirements, product performance, and overall market trends.
Drive product strategy business decisions for responsible products and services. Work within the assigned budget for the most cost effective product plan
Direct overall product lifecycle planning and management including pricing, customer and technical requirements, product strategy and communications across each product category.
Be the expert on the market and its challenges and define unsolved market difficulties that are urgent and relevant to specific product line(s) and categories that the customers / operators are willing to pay to solve. Understand the competition and manage appropriate response.
Develop a pricing model per product category including pricing schedules, guidelines and procedures to meet the life-cycle margin targets.
Manage the product portfolio and cancel non-performing products by monitoring and analyzing how well products are performing based upon product profitability, actual to planned revenue, customer satisfaction, and market share.
Develop and implement product launch strategies to deliver profitable solutions to market challenges by developing an objective business case analysis including financial modeling to maximize top and bottom line growth and product performance in each product category.
Other duties and responsibilities
Provide vision, leadership, and direction to Austria team. Act as a facilitator in communication with other teams
Responsible for mentorship, performance appraisals, conflict resolution and recognition of the staff in Austria to maintain highly motivated and engaged employees
Work closely with regional sales teams to drive sales pipeline, pricing and mix strategy to meet or exceed revenue goals
Partner with marketing and commercial strategy team to develop launch plans for new product introductions and ensure launch readiness within teams across the business
Follows procedures for monitoring projects in order to inform management of current status of each project
Provide support to senior management, sales, and customer support on product information via presentations, product briefs, and other demonstrations
Participate in pricing governance of product lines, management of pricing strategy
Submit proposals for consideration and allocation of R&D investment funds
Licensor management, ability to handle licensor relationship with parties that we have Intellectual property agreements
work with compliance on product approvals in various regions across EMEA
