What are we looking for?

We are looking for a dynamic and results-driven Regional Director of Sales to strengthen our expansion efforts in Europe. In this strategic role, you will serve as a thought leader, educating and nurturing the payments market, identifying new opportunities, and driving adoption of our solutions.

You’ll collaborate closely with the global sales, Product, and Marketing teams to execute ambitious sales plans while developing strategies that propel our company’s growth to the next level. A key aspect of your role will be building and maintaining strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders, ensuring long-term success and market penetration.

This is a full-time position that reports directly to the Chief Commercial Officer.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies to achieve regional revenue targets.
  • Lead, coach, and motivate the sales team to foster a high-performance culture.
  • Identify and explore new market opportunities, driving business development initiatives.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and partners.
  • Analyze market trends and adjust sales strategies accordingly.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product development, and customer support.
  • Monitor sales performance metrics and provide regular reports to senior management.
  • Participate in strategic planning and contribute to the overall growth of the company.

Requirements

  • Proven track record of at least 5 years in enterprise sales in payments, financial services, tech in Europe.
  • Strong understanding of sales principles and customer relationship management.
  • Ability to articulate clearly and confidently with both technical and business audiences.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strategic thinker with sound organisational skills and execution.
  • Experience in managing relationships with major partners and clients.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, target-driven, high-growth environment.
  • Fluency in English is required; knowledge of additional European languages is a plus.
  • Authorisation to work in Europe is mandatory. Travel within Europe will be required.
