You'll play a key role in sourcing materials, innovation and trimmings for multiple apparel collections, conducting market research, purchasing raw materials, managing production planning, and providing support for all apparel collections. All the responsibilities we'll trust you with:
MATERIAL EXPERT
In this role you'll be responsible for sourcing and developing fabrics and trims in close cooperation to Design and Product Development. Consideration of design, procurement, quality and sustainability aspects will also be part of your role.
COLLECTION DEVELOPMENT
You'll be responsible to support the development and design team in order to secure materials and material data according to diverse collection timelines. You’ll be involved in developing consistent collection themes and responsible to schedule and monitor all data’s in detail.
COSTS
You’ll track and lead the target costing process for respective materials and communicate with suppliers during the whole product lifecycle.
MATERIAL RESEARCH
You’ll search for new material innovations and trends on respective fairs, during supplier pitches and within your network.
QUALITY
In close cooperation with the quality team - you’ll help to constantly improve products and quality related processes.
EXPERIENCE Your areas of knowledge and expertise
that matter most for this role:
- 5+ years’ working experience in apparel / trimmings development
- Knowledge about textile purchasing processes
- Knowledge about textile raw materials
- Knowledge about functional textiles and garments
- MS office & Adobe Illustrator knowledge
- Experiences with PLM/Centric C8 is a plus
- High organizing ability and structured mode of operation
- Hands-on team player with a highly product-driven mentality
- Interest in fashion, functional wear & apparel brands

Due to legal reasons we are obliged to disclose the minimum salary according to the collective agreement for this position, which is EUR 2.605 gross per month. However, our attractive compensation package is based on market-oriented salaries and is therefore significantly above the stated minimum salary.
