The Kassenärztliche Vereinigung Berlin (Körperschaft des öffentlichen Rechts) is looking for a full-time (part-time possible) permanent position for its IT Infrastructure & Service department as soon as possible. Linux Administrator (f/m/d) Do you want to be a part of real digitalization in the healthcare sector? In this role, you will be part of our IT infrastructure team and take care of the operation, expansion and conversion of our existing Linux server landscape. The mission of our team is to ensure that the work of KV Berlin employees is uninterrupted. You will help with the planning of projects, rollouts and migrations. As part of the team, you will support the expansion of our IT infrastructure and help to rectify and prevent faults. Your area of responsibility Planning and implementation of Linux servers and clients (RHEL) under VMware including monitoring, logging, update, patch, change and backup strategies Planning and organization of user and rights management as well as network security Administration of database servers (MSSQL, SAP Sybase ASE, PostgreSQL) Market analysis of IT products in our infrastructure and beyond Your profile Completed training as an IT specialist in system integration or comparable with at least 4 years of professional experience Good knowledge in the administration of Linux servers of different derivatives and also Microsoft Windows servers Good knowledge of the administration of commercially available RDBMS Knowledge of ITIL and BSI standards Knowledge of network and authentication protocols SAML, OAuth, Kerberos Good written and spoken German and English We offer you Remuneration according to TV-L Berlin, including an annual special payment and 30 days' vacation 38.5 hours/week (full-time) and flexible working hours/part-time models Up to 2 days of mobile working (weekly, after the end of the probationary period) KV-Card (€50 monthly benefit in kind) for shopping in the region Numerous offers for health promotion, company fitness rooms and courses Excellent public transport connections, secure bicycle parking and free public parking spaces You can find more attractive benefits and information about KV Berlin on our careers page Classification: E11 TV-L We stand for equal opportunities and promote professional gender equality.
