The GP2 "Digitization and Quality Assurance in the Public Health Service (ÖGD)" department in Bad Kissingen is looking for a Senior IT Manager (m/f/d) / IT Service Management Digital health administration / digital specialist applications in the ÖGD Reference number 24164 Would you like to contribute to the modernization of the Public Health Service (ÖGD) as an expert (m/f/d) in the field of digital health administration and digital specialist applications in the ÖGD? The contribution to an evidence-based public health service, the introduction of efficient administrative structures and digital data transmission to combat the pandemic and support health protection are our core pillars. The department is currently planning the introduction of new IT applications at the Bavarian health authorities and will make an operational contribution to rolling these out across the country through technical and IT support. Versatile tasks that will challenge you The main areas of activity are IT service management and the technical design of IT architectures. This includes: Close cooperation with the departmental management, senior IT management and the Project Management Office (PMO) to implement the IT strategy of the ÖGD funding pact projects (e.g. citizen portal, handbook, etc.) and the LGL's further digitization strategy Development of the IT service organization; perspective: management and control of internal and external service teams Professional and technical management and coordination of IT projects and applications Management and close collaboration with internal and external stakeholders to ensure compliance with legal requirements and IT standards Further development of the technical operating concept in consultation with senior IT management Creation, monitoring and management of service level agreements (SLAs), which define recurring services between provider and client Technical consulting and support for specialist departments in requirements analysis and specifications Development and maintenance of high-quality software architectures, taking into account the specific requirements of the public sector in close coordination with senior IT managers Monitoring technical progress, reporting to management and project stakeholders and participating in the PMO as required To ensure the feasibility of the digital applications, you will be responsible for and lead the training management and organize the software documentation Coordinate risk management and proactive problem solving throughout the entire project cycle Implementation of best practices and continuous improvement of processes as part of IT project management Occasional on-site assignments at the specialist authorities, also together with the IT teams, round off the daily routine A CV that impresses us Professional requirements: You have successfully completed a degree in computer science, business informatics, administrative informatics or a comparable field of study (Master / Diploma [Univ.]) You already have several years of professional experience as an IT Service Manager (m/f/d), ideally in the public sector and/or healthcare sector An advantage: Previous experience in the public health service, as a consultant (m/f/d) in the healthcare sector or in digital transformation projects Strong team leadership and organizational skills Excellent communication skills and the ability to convey complex issues in an understandable way Experience in conceptual activities and creating service level agreements Strong analytical skills and the ability to understand and communicate complex relationships Experience with IT service processes according to ITIL Knowledge of agile methods and frameworks, e.g. agile project management Experience with different IT architectures and infrastructures Strong analytical skills and experience in working with data to make decisions Experience with presentations and reporting Experience in working with large functional teams Comprehensive knowledge of German (at least language level B2 according to CEFR) An environment that inspires you Flexible working hours Official health management Compatibility of family and career 30 days' vacation plus Christmas Eve and New Year's Eve off work Company pension scheme Annual special payment Capital-forming benefits In-house training and further education academy Secure workplace Idea management Employee benefits Employee events (summer party, company outing, etc.) JobBike Bavaria (bicycle leasing) Possibility of using an e-charging station Mobile working Employment relationship / evaluation Recruitment is by way of a permanent employment relationship under collective bargaining law.
