In this pivotal role, you will lead all aspects of our marketing and product management activities, guiding both the strategic and operational direction of our product lines and business units. Your leadership will be key in ensuring sustainability and success.
What you can expect:
As Marketing Director you will take over leadership of the department in line with the Roche Leadership Commitments. This includes further development of the organizational unit and its employees in form of coaching and regular feedback.
You will lead the team to establish the product strategy including product lifecycle strategy, launch strategy, portfolio management and go-to-market strategy.
Your goal is to guarantee patient access with efficient marketing strategies and to develop a local marketing plan to drive market share growth and achievement of sales targets.
You represent the company in this function externally and internally and you are responsible for a positive company image.
You identify, drive and lead all aspects of execution of innovative strategies, plans and tactics for the marketing department.
You are responsible for maximizing opportunities and synergies across multiple brands/franchises and select, develop and evaluate employees ensuring the efficient operation of the function.

You are a successful leader with marketing experience in international organizations, whether in medical technology, IT or other industries with a focus on science or technology (B2B) (>8 years).
Technical and/or scientific background, with a keen interest in applying this expertise to the healthcare sector.
Strong decision-making skills with the ability to push boundaries to achieve outcomes.
Experience in driving agility, digital transformation, and encouraging a learning mindset for future skills as well as skilled in navigating a complex organizational structure and leveraging informal networks to find allies and drive initiatives.
Proven experience in the strategic alignment of a marketing organization, balancing global and local as well as internal and external influencing factors.
Comprehensive competencies across the entire marketing mix (4Ps) with a proven track record in the successful development and implementation of new approaches.
Sales/field service experience and knowledge in the diagnostics' environment are beneficial.
Proficient in English (written and spoken), German is a plus
