WERKSTOFFTECHNIKER:IN
in Digital Humanities
(part-time, 20h per week)
(part-time, 20h per week) for a duration of 48 months, starting November 01st, 2024.
Your tasks: - Development and support of a unified framework for structured research data and digital research tools at the IFI
- Coordination with national and international cooperation partners in the field of digital humanities
- Research and publication
- Participation in the development of grant proposals
- Active participation in the activities of the Institute for Iranian Studies including outreach and knowledge transfer
Your profile: - A PhD in Iranian Studies or Caucasus Studies with a significant Digital Humanities aspect
- Experience with digital collections platforms, digital prosopography and digital manuscript studies
- Experience with use of Python and PHP
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- An excellent or promising publication record of high-quality publications on relevant topics
We offer an annual gross salary of € 33.250,70 according to the collective agreement of the Austrian Academy of Sciences.
Successful candidates will be based in Austria in an international, diverse and dynamic research environment in the center of Vienna.
