Introduction:
We are seeking a skilled Desk Side Engineer to join our team in Austria. This role requires excellent language skills in both German and English, as well as a strong technical background. Weekly on-site presence is required to ensure efficient support and communication with end users.
Responsibilities:
- Install and configure hardware and software for end user usability
- Troubleshoot Windows workstations and mobility issues
- Proficient in SCCM 2012 and O365
- Utilize command languages for remote application management
- Repair or replace damaged hardware
- Upgrade systems for software compatibility
- Ensure antivirus software installation and updates
- Basic L1 network skills, including device mounting/unmounting
- Conduct tests on new software and hardware
- Provide user support and manage error reporting/tickets
- Foster good relationships with departments and colleagues
- Daily ticket/queue management
- Inventory management and forecasting
- Track vendor shipments
