For our customers in Austria (province of Carinthia) we are looking for trained Metal Technicians with a focus on machining technology (m/f/d). Since the Metal Technician sector is very broadly diversified, there are different focal points and job requirements.

Ihre Aufgaben

• Creating machine components according to technical drawings and specifications
• Calibrating machine tools for precise metalworking operations
• Set up and operate various machine tools to produce metal components
• Performing quality control testing to ensure the consistency of the component produced
• Maintain and repair quantities of machine tools when necessary

Ihre Qualifikationen

• Completed vocational training as a metal technician
• First professional experience in machining technology
• German language skills at B1 level
• Ability to work together: teamwork (e.g. during assembly work)
• Logical-analytical thinking: detecting errors during repair work
• Mathematical and computational skills: calculating workpiece dimensions and designs, calculating parameters for machine programming
• Physical stamina: lifting heavy workpieces, stresses such as dirt, machine noise, etc.
• Mental resilience: Partial shift work (including night shift)
• Spatial imagination: producing workpieces according to workpiece drawings, working according to assembly plans
• Ability to react: operate, control and monitor machines and systems, intervene quickly in the event of machine malfunctions
• Vision: Inspection work (workpieces, weld seams, etc.)
• Independence: Advise on operational quality management
• Technical understanding: Maintenance and repair work on machines and systems, reading work drawings
• Skin sensitivity: working with solvents, lubricants, coolants, metal chips, etc.
