Thesis - GPS & 5G Antenna 3D EMC Simulation
Your Responsibilities3D antenna model build and analysis of antenna efficiency and signal strength based of different environmental / boundary conditions.
Modern vehicles are incorporating more antennas for various purposes, including GPS navigation, 5G connectivity, vehicle-to-vehicle (V2V) communication, and advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS). These antennas need to be seamlessly integrated into the vehicle design without compromising their performance or interfering with each other.
- Investigation of different antenna types
- Setup of a model of the different antennas, mounting and their excitation signals
- Running the simulation with different parameters of the relevant system components
- Documentation and interpretation of the results of the different simulation runs
- Compare the simulation results with available measurements of the existing system
- All findings will be documented into a workflow and processes
Your Profile- Ongoing studies in the fields of Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Software Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering or similar
- Basic knowledge of EMC simulation tools (e.g. CST Studio)
- Knowledge in electro-technics and electronic circuits
- Team spirit and strong problem-solving skills
- Demanding tasks and opportunity to working independently Goal-oriented working style.
- Good language skills in English necessary and in German beneficial
