Climate Compliance Specialist (f/m/d)
How You'll Make Your Mark Your main tasks in this role are:
- Supporting the ALDI SOUTH Group on its pathway towards net-zero with approved science-based targets.
- Develop and lead international sustainability projects in the field of climate action and achieving compliance to climate and reporting policies.
- Conduct deep dive research on the new trends, identify possible impact on ALDI’s climate strategies and assess financial implications on ALDI for ensuring compliance readiness.
- Represent ALDI in external technical working groups within climate action and compliance.
- Collaborate and communicate with internal and external stakeholders.
- Consult internal stakeholders and create concept papers, analyses, reports, and presentations.
Your Profile The requirements of the role include:
- You have completed studies ideally related to Corporate Responsibility, Environmental Management, Carbon Accounting or Strategic Management (with touchpoints to sustainability).
- Experience in Corporate Responsibility and climate action with focus on developing climate strategies and policies enabling businesses transformation is required.
- Experience with carbon accounting and reporting policies (e.g. CSRD, TCFD), introducing environmental management systems and developing carbon removal strategies is advantageous.
- You enjoy international cooperation and transforming mindsets to embed climate action into business.
- You have convincing and supportive communication skills, empathy and teamwork.
- You are fluent in English

Remuneration Gross annual salary starting from € 52.700,-*
*willingness to overpay with appropriate qualifications
