The Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences is seeking to fill a PraeDoc position for a period of four years. The work includes participation in scientific research projects for the in vivo and ex vivo evaluation of novel therapeutic approaches in tumour therapy. The conclusion of a dissertation agreement or the existence of such an agreement is expected, as well as participation in scientific publications and the independent teaching of courses to the extent of the collective agreement provisions.

Your personal sphere of influence:

The MMCT research laboratory at the Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences is involved in the development of novel nanomedical therapies and biotherapeutics with a special focus on malignant tumours. To this end, ex-vivo models and imaging technologies are also used to investigate novel active substances in tumour models.

Your future tasks:

You actively participate in research, teaching & administration, which means:

  • You will be involved in research projects and scientific studies in the fields of biochemistry, pharmacology and histology.
  • We expect you to finalise your dissertation agreement within 12-18 months.
  • You will work on and finalise your dissertation.
  • You will teach courses independently in accordance with the provisions of the collective agreement.
  • You will be responsible for administrative activities in research and teaching.
  • Participation in publications/scientific articles
  • Lecturing activities
This is part of your personality:
  • Completed Master's/Diploma degree in the field of pharmacy
  • Initial experience in scientific work
  • Excellent knowledge of English (C1) / knowledge of another foreign language (level), where appropriate
  • You are a team player with high social/communication skills.
  • Expertise in the fields of biochemistry, pharmacology, histology, 3D cell culture models - Methodological skills - Didactic skills
  • IT user skills
  • Teaching experience in the field of histology, microscopy. Teaching experience / experience with e-learning - Knowledge of university procedures and structures - Experience abroad - Initial experience in scientific work Documents to be submitted

Fair salary: The basic salary of EUR 3578,80 (on a full-time basis) increases if we can credit professional experience.
