To support our team in Thalgau/ Salzburg, we are looking for an Intern in the Strength & Conditioning department. Join us in January 2025 for a period of six months to gain deep insights into the world of the Red Athlete Performance Center
Reporting to the Head of Strength and Conditioning, you will work as part of an interdisciplinary team to develop and deliver world class S&C support to Red Bull athletes and teams.
Job DescriptionAthlete Coaching
Assist S&C team coaching a wide range of individuals (different age groups, multiple sports/athletes).
Work with coaches and athletes develop areas linked to athlete’s short and long-term development.
Programming
Deliver evidence based S&C programming.
Along with the Head of Strength and Conditioning and the wider S&C team, seek opportunities for integrating innovative approaches and technologies to training/challenges.
Data driven Development
Tracking, data entry and reporting of testing and other required needs for the larger APC system.
Collaboration
Collaborate with experts across all APC divisions (Sports Medicine, Sport Science, Nutrition, Mental Performance and Performance Data) .
Participate in interdisciplinary approaches/practices with the other staff members who work in the APC performance system.
QualificationsExperience of S&C coaching experience (High performance environment preferred).
Ability to develop highly effective working relationships.
Strong planning and organisational skills.
Experience working in close collaboration with a variety of specialists, stakeholders and a number of teams or individual athletes.
Degree in Sport and Exercise Science (or equivalent). Essential
Master degrees in S&C or or other sport sciences. Desirable.
Additional InformationDue to legal reasons we are obliged to disclose the minimum salary according to the collective agreement for this position. However, our attractive compensation package is based on market-oriented salaries and is therefore significantly above the stated minimum salary.
