ACADEMY SCIENTIST (F/M/X)
(full-time, 40 hour per week)
for an initial period of 12 months, with the option to extend for the duration of the project, to be filled preferably by January 01st, 2025.
Your tasks: - Collaboration in the technology assessment project NanoTrust-Beyond focussing on risk and safety governance of nanomaterials and advanced materials (oeaw.ac.at/en/ita/nanotrust/)
- Active participation in the institute’s inter- and transdisciplinary discourse
Your profile: - Completed university studies (Master) in a natural-science discipline like biology, human ecology, physics or a nanotech-related field, preferably with an additional background in the social sciences
- Ideally, experience in the field of technology assessment or inter- and transdisciplinary research
- Experience in qualitative research methods and organisation of workshops
- Knowledge in the field of nanotechnology, advanced materials, governance of technologies
- First academic publications
- Excellent German and English skills needed
- Soft skills: capacity for teamwork, communicative character

We offer an annual gross salary of € 66.501,40, according to the collective agreement of the Austrian Academy of Sciences.
